Due to my love for England and the English Language I decided that I would love to do my marketing internship in the UK. I went looking for a company where I could both learn something about marketing and experience the traditional English culture. That’s why I chose the University of Buckingham. Buckingham is a charming, little English village close to London and Oxford. During my internship I stayed in the student accomodation on campus, provided by the University.
My daily tasks at the marketing department involve
- Attending fairs to recruite potential new students
- Follow up on the students we met at the fairs by sending them an email
- Creating posters and slogans for events the University hosts
- Assisting in developing mailing campaigns
So far it has been an amazing and unforgetable experience. It was not only the best way to enhance my language but I also learned to trive in a real business environement. I would recommend every student to gain some work or study experience abroad!
